USING THE WEB AND GOOGLE
Group Presentation
The Middle East

· Students will be divided into 3-4 groups, each group will choose a different country from the Middle East region.

· Each group will create their presentation using the Google Docs tool presentation. This is very similar to Power Point except it is free and everyone can use it.

· The students will view the example of the presentation and how to use it in Google Docs, students will be given a calendar of important due dates and in class group meetings.

Assignment:
Each group will put together a presentation with the fallowing requirements

1. The presentation will be between 5-7 min in length
2. Each student will be required to speak during the presentation
3. The presentation will include 10 images, one image will be a map of the country
4. The history of the country will be included
5. The religion of the country will be included
Each student will complete a group evaluation after each presentation, to earn all 10 points for participation every evaluation must be completed, also the class evaluation will count toward 10% of the groups grade.

Each group member will evaluate the other members of their group which will count for another 10% of grade.

Materials used will be: internet, email, Google Docs., Google Scholar, and classroom projector
